Description of key information
Chapter R.10 of the Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment (ECHA 2008, p. 42) indicates that "the chemicals of concern with respect to secondary poisoning include lipophilic organic chemicals and some metal compounds". The reaction product and its constituent substances show a low bioaccumulative (low log Kow) potential. Hence, a relevant distribution into soil and a considerable exposure of birds is not expected. Therefore, and because of reasons of animal welfare, no study on toxicity on birds is proposed.
