Additional information

The ready biodegradability of 2,2-bis[[(1-oxoisononyl)oxy]methyl]-1,3-propanediyl diisononanoate (CAS 93803-89-5) was investigating according to OECD 301B (Muckle, 2012).Activated sludge from a wastewater treatment plant was used as inoculum.Activated sludge microorganisms were exposed to a test substance concentration of 28.95 mg/L (mean) under aerobic conditions for an extended duration of 60 d. The results indicated that the test substance reached a mean degradation of 6%. Therefore, the test substance is not readily biodegradable according to the OECD criteria.
