Additional information - workers

There are no experimental nor literature toxicological data available on TATD-CLE. Therefore the read across approach was considered in order to trace a complete toxicological profile of the substance.

On the basis of the classification of TATD-CLE, a qualitative risk characterisation was performed. The purpose of the qualitative assessment is to assess the likelihood that effects are avoided when implementing the exposure scenario. All of the recommended RMMs/OCs associated with a specific hazard category/band should be considered in developing the exposure scenarios.

According to the ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Part E: Risk Characterisation TADT-CLE is characterized by a high hazard profile. For substances categorised as having a high hazard profile (i.e., skin sensitizers and respiratory sensitizers), a very high level of containment, automatic dosing/feeding to the process, and appropriate PPE are recommended in occupational settings in order to avoid exposure.
