Additional information

In a non-GLP guideline study according to OECD 301 D the ready biodegradability of the test substance was measured (ECB IUCLID 2000). Using 8 mg/L test substance and predominantly domestic, adapted sewage 30 - 40 % biodegradation was observed after 20 days.

Additionally, data on inherent biodegradability are given (ECB IUCLID 2000): In a GLP OECD 302 B guideline study using activated sludge and 100 mg/L concentration related to DOC, 69 % degradation was observed after 28 days (66 % after 7 days and 64 % after 14 days).

In conclusion, the test item is regarded as not readily biodegradable and it is moderately/partly eliminated from water.
