Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 400 °C
Remarks on result:
other:
Remarks:
at atm. press. of ca.1.0 atm

Any other information on results incl. tables

The sample was observed to undergo an exothermic event from approximately 300°C and a peak temperature of 396.3°C was attained. No self-ignition was observed during the test. The self-ignition temperature is therefore > 400°C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
No self ignition was observed during the test. The self-ignition temperature is therefore > 400°C.
Executive summary:

To determine the relative self-ignition temperature of a sample of MC_BR_Hardhead_1002_D using the EC Testing Method A 16, a test was performed and revealed that there is no self-ignition up to a temperature of 400°C.
