Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the n-octanol solubility of the test substance according to EU Method A.6. The n-octanol solubility of the test substance at 20°C was determined according to the flask method. This test method is originally intended for the determination of water solubility. However, the same test conditions were applied for the determination of the n-octanol solubility, using n-octanol instead of water. Under the study conditions, n-octanol solubility of the test substance at 20°C is <0.008 g/L (Frischmann, 2013).

Description of key information

The n-octanol solubility was determined according to EU Method A.6 (Frischmann, 2013).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
