Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The results of the key study, which is appropriate for the assessment of ready biodegradability for this substance (OECD 301 D) show that the substance (exposed as water accommodated fraction) is readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

The supporting study was conducted above the water solubility by the factor of 50. The results of this study show, that the substance is continuously biodegraded under test conditions according to OECD 301 F as the dissolved test substance becomes biologically available for biodegradation in a dynamic equilibrium. Simulation of STP clearance show that 94% of the substance are removed from water by waste water treatment.
