The results of the key study are appropriate for the assessment of ready biodegradability since conducted according to OECD 301 D. They show that the substance is readily biodegradable. The results of the supporting study show that the substance is biodegradable under test conditions according to OECD 301 F. Furthermore STP simulations indicate that 94% of the substance is removed from water by waste water treatment. Based on the finding of ready biodegradability and STP clearance, further exposure and risk assessment for environmental compartments like surface water bodies, sediments and soils is obsolete, according to the requirements of REACH.
