The purpose of the study was determination of the partition coefficient n-octanol / water of the test item according to the European Commission Regulation (EC) No.440/2008, A.8. partition coefficient n-octanol / water and OECD 107 and OECD 117, partition coefficient n-octanol/water were used to performed the experiment.

The partition coefficient n-octanol/water of FAT 20242/I TE at 20°C was determined to: Pow = 5.55, Log Pow = 0.744.

Another study was performed in accordance with the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 107 "Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water)".

This test was performed by the shake flask procedure. The results of that experiment were as follows;

Log P = 0.23 at pH= 5.4. Temperature = 25 °C
