- Acetalization products between glucose and C16/18 alcohol is a mixture of alcohol and cetarylglucoside which have similarly structure. nthe molecules have the same fatty chain and a similar polar head with hydroxyl functions. this mixture could be consiodered as non readily flammable solid as no ignition is observed with brief contact with a flame.
