Description of key information

The mean value for the first step is pKa =2.5  and for the second step pKa = 7.5 at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Because of their different monoester / diester ratio the two tested items of this substance showed different pKa's. Because of their chemical nature two different dissociation constants have been determined. Their mean value of pKa =2.5  for the first step and pKa = 7.5 for the second step at 25°C will be used for the chemical safety assessment.
