Description of key information

The Henry's law constant is calculated using the equation from EUSES. Using a molecular weight of 154.3 g/mol, and the experimentally determined vapour pressure of 6.48 Pa (at 23 °C) and water solubility of 2870 mg/L (at 23 °C) the Henry's law constant at environmental temperature (12 °C) is calculated to be 0.186 Pa·m³/mol. This means that alpha-Terpineol will limitedly volatilise from water.
