Description of key information
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX and X, long - and short-term toxicity to plants (required in section 9.4.3 and 9.4.6) does not need to be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. As shown in IUCLID section 4.8 the water solubility of Olaflur is very good, the log Pow (IUCLID section 4.7) is clearly below 3, indicating that the substance has no bioaccumulating properties. Furthermore, the substance can be classified as ready biodegradable and the KOC value indicates a low transfer to sludge if any. In addition, exposure assessments for consumer use do not indicate a relevant exposure or risk towards terrestrial organisms.
