Description of key information

Adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The physio-chemical characteristics of the substance indicate that the substance will not adsorb to soil or suspended matter. The water solubility of the substance as well as the solubility in octanol are very low (logPow = 1.4).

Additionally, a logKoc of 0.63 was calculated for the uncharged molecule (SRC KOCWIN v2.00, 2011). However, the substance will not only exist in the uncharged form at entvironmentally relevant pH values. Though the neutral form will prevail the molecule will also exist in the cationic form. Therefore, this calculation has just a supporting function.
