Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A bioaccumulation study according to OECD 305C is available (Institute of Ecotoxicology 1995). After 56 d of exposure the BCF values are below 21. Nevertheless, the results of the study are regarded as not reliable since an emulsifier has been used and both test concentrations (1 and 0.1 ppm) are above the water solubility (0.0126 mg/L) of the test item.

However, the logPow of the test substance was calculated to be 0.2 -0.6. Therefore, the test substance is not bioaccumulative. Additional testing is not necessary, since according to Annex IX column 2 of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, the study on bioaccumulation does not need to be conducted if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (e.g. logKow < 3). Therefore, further data on bioaccumulation is not provided.
