Description of key information
The environmental distribution of the reaction mass of potassium trifluoroacetate (TFAK) and potassium trifluoromethanesulphinate (TFSK) is defined by the properties of its constituents and can be summarised as follows:
As the reaction mass is soluble in water and has a low potential for adsorption, its main target environmental compartment will be the water compartment where it is stable due to its low potential of degradation. Considering its low volatility, volatilisation from water to air can be excluded.
