Conclusions:
Based on the test results the 96-hour LC50 of Butyldiglycol methacrylate for rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was determined to be 22.36 mg test item/L based on geometric mean concentrations. The LC0 was determined to be 15.47 mg test item/L also based on geometric mean concentrations.
Executive summary:

In a 96-h acute toxicity study according to OECD guideline 203, adopted 17th July 1992, Onchorynchus mykiss (Rainbow troute) were exposed to BDGMA at nominal concentrations of 0 (control), 80, 36, 17, 7.5 and 3.4 mg test item/L corresponding to geometric mean measured concentrations of  79.20, 33.48, 15.47, 6.53 and 2.79 mg test item/L under semistatic conditions.

The 96-h LC50 was 22.36 mg/L (based on geometric mean measured concentration).

This toxicity study is classified as reliable without restriction and satisfies the guideline requirement for acute toxicity study to fish.
