Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Reliable short-term aquatic toxicity data are available for the registered substance as follows (based on mean measured concentrations):

  • A 96 hour LC50 value of >14.2 ng/l has been determined for the effects of the registered substance on mortality of Oncorhynchus mykiss.
  • A 48 hour EC50 value of >19 ng/l has been determined for the effects of the test substance on mobility of Daphnia magna.
  • A 72 hour EC50 value of >15 ng/l and NOEC of ≥15 ng/l have been determined for the effects of the test substance on growth rate of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata.

The substance has a water solubility of <10 ng/l and therefore, the results indicate that it is not toxic at its solubility limit.

There are no long-term data for fish and aquatic invertebrates, however, data waivers are applicable for these endpoints. This is based on the fact that the registered substance has extremely low aqueous solubility which prevents toxic concentrations being achieved in exposure media and no effects were observed in short-term tests that were conducted at exposure concentrations that were close to or above the solubility limit of the substance.
