Additional information
Short description of key information:
Lactamoil 70% has a pH of 12.5 and is intended for use in an industrial setting only, and thus oral uptake is not an anticipated route of exposure. Due to the corrosive properties of the substance, suitable risk management measures for dermal and inhalative exposure need to be taken (gloves, respiratory protection). According to Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH) (Annex XI, section 3), testing of toxicity to reproduction may be omitted, based on the exposure scenarios developed in the chemical safety report (see chapters 9+10 of CSR).
