Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A non-GLP guideline study according to OECD 301E is available for the assessment of the biodegradability of the test substance. In this study, the biodegradation degree was measured to be approx. 87 % (based on DOC removal) after a test duration of 28 days ( BASF AG 1/91/0040/20/1, 1991). Although there was no DOC-measurement implemented after 3 hours, an adsorption of the test item to the inoculum can be excluded since there was no elimination detectable after one day of exposure.

Since the substance is multiconstituent, the 10-days window concept does not apply. The very high degree of biodegradation after 28 days in the screening test (approx. 90 %) demonstrates however that the substance is rapidly and extesively removed from the environment via microblal degradation
