Additional information

The subchronic application of the structural related ESBO to rats in doses up to 1.25 g/kg bw/d in the diet resulted in lower body weight gains in males. Liver weights were increased in rats fed either test article at 5% in diet; this increase was also observed in male rats fed either test article at 1%. Gross findings indicated a test article-related effect of ESBO on liver and kidney at 1% and 5%.
