Description of key information

The melting point of laurylimidazole is 7°C at 1009 hPa (OECD 102).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting point was determined using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The study was conducted in accord with EU Method A.1 and GLP guidelines. Therefore this study is classified as reliable without restriction. In a supporting study the melting point was determined to be 15°C. However, no information about the method used for the supporting study was provided and the study cannot be classified as to its reliability.
