Description of key information

The density of the test substance is 0.821 g/cm³ at ambient temperature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.821

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated.

The Polymer Handbookk reports the density to be 0.821 g/cm3 at ambient temperature. The Lange's Handbook of Chemistry database reports the density to be 0.8213 g/cm3 and the Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry reports the density to be 0.81 g/cm3. Three independent literature sources report the density in the same range. Thus, a density of 0.821 which represent the median of all values was chosen as key value.
