Description of key information

Testing of lethal effects of Reaktiv-Rot F-66 813 FW for 96 hours in zebrafish (Brachydanio rerio) according to the method, showed that at 220 and 500 mg/L no lethality was observed. The LC50 after 48 and 96 hours therefore was > 500 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

LC50 for freshwater fish:
500 mg/L

Additional information

The acute toxicity to fish with Reaktiv-Rot F-66 813 FW was conducted according to EU-Guideline C.1. Acute Toxicity in Fish Directive 84/449/EEC and the OECD-Guideline for Testing of Chemicals, 203 Fish Acute Toxicity Test. Study conducted in compliance with GLP.
