The substance has a water solubility of 2.667 g/L (20 °C and pH = 2.9), a vapour pressure of 0.99 hPa (20°C) and a log Pow between 1.55 and 3.07 (21.9 °C). Therefore, the substance is mainly expected to distribute in the water column. The atmospheric compartments as well as sediment and soil could also be affected due to the moderate vapour pressure and log Pow. However, an experimental study indicated that the test substance is readily biodegradable according to the OECD criteria (104% in 28 d) and therefore, it is not expected to persist in the environment.
