In the main test the lowest temperature where an ignition was observed was 121.5 °C.

The lowest measured flash point is corrected to the ambient pressure to be 121.89 °C.

The resulting corrected flash point rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C is 121.5 °C.

Final Results

The test item has a flash point of 121.5 °C (corrected and rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C) according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.9. Flash Point and DIN EN ISO 3679 (2004).

Conclusions:
A flash point value of 121.5 °C (at 1013 hPa) was determined for the test substance according to EU Method A.9.

Description of key information

Flash point: 121.5 °C at 1013 hPa (E.U. Method A.9.)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
121.5 °C

Additional information

A flash point value of 121.5 °C (at 1013 hPa) was determined for the test substance according to EU Method A.9.
