Description of key information

 The 30 minute EC20 value is >1000 mg/L (nominal) as observed in a respiration inhibition study with activated sludge of a predominantly domestic sewage.

Additional information

The effects of alcohols, C13 -15 -branched and linear on aquatic microorganisms were investigated in a non-GLP short-term respiration test according to international standard ISO 8192 using activated sludge form a predominantly domestic source. The total exposure duration was 30 minutes under static conditions. A 30 minute EC20 value was determined at >1000 mg/L (nominal).
