In an isolated eye chicken test performed in compliance with the GLP, Bis(2,4-dichloro-5-nitrophenyl) carbonate (named as di(2,4-dichloro 5-nitrophenyl) carbonate (DDNC)) induced some irritation of the eyes but it can be concluded that it is not classified as corrosive or severe irritant.
