Description of key information
In Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, it is laid down that studies on soil organisms do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. As exposure to soil is very low and no risk was observed (referring to section 10.1.2, 10.2.2 and 10.3.2 of the chemical safety report), it is not necessary to perform a soil simulation test.
As the substance is not supposed to bioaccumulate (see chapter 4.3 Bioaccumulation), secondary poisoning is of no concern for this substance. Therefore, and because of reasons of animal welfare, no study on birds is performed.
