Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The submission substance is poorly water-soluble and traditional methods of preparation of test solutions are inappropriate. The substance meets the criterion of a "difficult substance". One reliable fish short-term toxicity study is available. The toxicity to freshwater fish was studied by following to OECD TG No. 203 and OECD Guidance document No. 23 on aquatic toxicity testing of difficult substances and mixtures, under GLP. Fish (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were exposed to concentrations of 1.0, 1.8, 3.2, 5.6, 7.2 and 10 % v/v saturated solution of substance over a test period of 96 hours (semi-static test, daily renewal). The substance present in test medium was monitored in freshly prepared test media at 0 and 72 hours and in expired test media at 24 and 96 hours. The measured concentrations range from 0.18 to 2.1 mg/L, therefore, the endpoints were based on mean measured test concentrations. The 96h-LC50 was determined to > 2.06 mg/L.
