Description of key information

The density of the test item hydroxy(2-methylprop-2-enoato-O)zinc was calculated as 1.9177 ± 0.0008 g/cm3at 20.0 ±0.4 °C which is the mean of two values.

Key study was performed in order to determine the density of hydroxy(2-methylprop-2-enoato-O)zinc according to the OECD 109 and EU method A.3 using a pycnometer method under GLP.

The density of the test item hydroxy(2-methylprop-2-enoato-O)zinc was calculated as 1.9177 ± 0.0008 g/cm3at 20.0 ± 0.4 °C which is the mean of two values. Precision of the value is given as maximal error of a single determination.

Standard deviation was 0.0009 g/cm3, showing good correlation of the two determinations.

The result has been considered as reliable without restriction because the test was performed in compliance with OECD and EU guidelines giving scientifically valid results.
