Description of key information

Phototransformation in air is not relevant due to low vapour pressure (VP =< 0.35 Pa).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Experimental results on phototransformation of 6-methyl-2-oxoperhydropyrimidin-4-yl urea are not available. A calculation using AOPWIN v1.92 indicates that the substance will be rapidly photodegraded by reaction with hydroxyl radicals with an estimated half-life of 6.94 hours. However, due to the low vapour pressure (VP =< 0.35 Pa, Kintrup, 2012) evaporation of the substance to the atmosphere is unlikely.
