Description of key information

Additional information

Hydrolysis:

According to REACH Annex IX section 9.2.2.1 Column 2 this study can be waived if the test substance is readily biodegradable. Therefore as the substance is readily biodegradable, a waiver is justified.

Phototransformation in water:

The available tests are different from the guidelines and either are not done in water (Freitag 1985) or do not include a calculation of the half-life (Oussy 1988). Therefore no definite conclusion can be drawn, but some phototransformation is likely to occur. In view of the biodegradability of the test substance no further information is considered necessary.
