Reference
Endpoint:
fish early-life stage toxicity
Type of information:
experimental study planned
Justification for type of information:
CONSIDERATIONS THAT THE GENERAL ADAPTATION POSSIBILITIES OF ANNEX XI OF THE REACH REGULATION ARE NOT ADEQUATE TO GENERATE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION:
- No existing GLP long term fish toxicity study available.
- No existing non-GLP long term fish toxicity study available.
- Historical human data are not relevant in addressing this end-point
- No (Q)SAR result available
- Currently no in- vitro methods available to cover this endpoint.
- Weight of evidence: no sufficient data for WoE assessment
- Grouping and read-across: No information about structurally similar substance.

CONSIDERATIONS THAT THE SPECIFIC ADAPTATION POSSIBILITIES OF ANNEXES VI TO X (AND COLUMN 2 THEREOF) OF THE REACH REGULATION ARE NOT ADEQUATE TO GENERATE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION:
- Indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment is likely. Therefore in accordance with REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/206, Annex IX - substance registered for 100 tonnes or more per year, Sections 9.1.6, long term toxicity testing is proposed for the fish aquatic endpoints in order to assess aquatic toxicity.

Further information on testing proposal in addition to information provided in the materials and methods section: n.a
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 210 (Fish, Early-Life Stage Toxicity Test)
