Thermal stability

Two DSC measurements in closed glass crucibles showed an endothermal effect in the temperature range of 140 - 380°C. No further endothermal or exothermal effects were observed up to the maximum temperature of the measurement of 500 °C.

Explosive properties

The heat of decomposition in the DCS measurements was below 500 J/g.Therefore, and as the test item is an organic substance compound, the main test on explosive properties was not necessary.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The test item is not an explosive.
Executive summary:

The test item had no explosive properties in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A. 14.

Description of key information

The test item had no explosive properties in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A. 14.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive
