Description of key information

For the test substance cyclic glucamide 810 there is no flash point conforming to standard Pensky-Martens method - DIN EN ISO 2719 - detectable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The flash point of the test substance was determined in a guideline study according to EU method A.9 by the Pensky-Martens close cup method.

The test substance shows no detectable flash point till 300 °C. After ISO 2719-B a weak flame is visible at temperature higher than 262 °C. Nevertheless, the instrument and its safety installations are not

able to detect this.

Result: for the test substance cyclic glucamide 810 there is no flsh point conforming to standard Pensky-Martens method - DIN EN ISO 2719 - detectable.
