First-aid measures

- Following inhalation: Remove victim into fresh air and artificial ventilation if necessary. Get medical attention.

- Following skin contact: Wash immediately with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention. Change clothing shoes and wet socks immediately

- Following eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes, open lid and consult an ophthalmologist. Remove contact lenses if the victim door and if they can be removed easily.

- Following ingestion: Rinse mouth with water, do not induce vomiting and get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical powder

- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Jet stick water

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Carbon oxides

- Advice for fire fighter:
- Specific methods: Keep away the containers from fire area if it can be done without risk. Use appropriate extinguishing fire nearby. Cool the containers with water spray. Use spray or cloud water to damp down fumes if possible.

- Equipment special fire: Use a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and protective clothing resistant to chemicals. EN 943-2: Protective clothing against chemicals. EN 137: SCBA

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. Sweep gently without raising dust and place in container for disposal and destruction to an authorized. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel to safe areas if necessary.

- Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Gently sweep without raising dust and place in container for disposal and destruction according to local regulations.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:
Safety during product use: Only people with experience and proper training can handle the product. The substance must be handled in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Do not breathe dust.

Safety when handling the container: Protect containers from physical damage; do not drag or drop them. Do not remove or deface labels provided to identify the container contents.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a well-ventilated place at room temperature (20-25 °C). Containers should be stored upright and secured to prevent falls. The stock containers must be periodically checked for general condition and no degradation. Store the containers in non-exposed fire risk areas and away from heat and ignition sources. Observe all regulations and local requirements regarding for storage containers.

8.2 Exposure Control

8.2.1 Appropriate engineering controls

The product has to be handled in a closed system. Preferably, use permanently sealed facilities. Maintain appropriate local exhaust ventilation and all.

8.2.2 Personal protective equipment

A risk analysis of the product use should be conducted and documented in all workplaces covered by its use to choose the security personnel equipment according to identified risks.
The following recommendations should be considered:
- Choose personal protective equipment complying with EN / ISO recommended.
- Protect eyes, face and skin from product splashes.

Eye/face protection:

Wear safety glasses with side shields. Wear a face shield during transfer operations or transfer line disconnections. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved by EN 166. Provide eyewash and showers with easy access.

Skin Protection:

Wear protective gloves when handling the product barrels, EN 388 protective gloves against mechanical risks. Wear resistant chemical gloves for handling the product, standard EN 374). Consult the glove supplier to get information about the material compatibility and its thickness.
Wear safety shoes standard EN ISO 20345.
Wear suitable protective clothing, chemical resistant, standard EN 943.

Respiratory protection:

Wear a cartridge respirator when handling the product standard EN 14387.

8.2.3 Ambient exposure controls

Avoid spills or leaks. Prevent product from entering drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.
