A study to determine the flash point of the test item, triglycerides, C16 and C18 (unsaturated), was conducted according to EC A.9 guideline using Setaflash apparatus. The test was conducted in duplicate.
No flash point was observed for the test item up to a temperature of 130°C, at which point the test was stopped. Based on the results of the study, the test item does not need to be classified as a ‘flammable liquid’ according to the CLP criteria.
The study was conducted according to standard guideline and is GLP-compliant and therefore is considered as reliable without restrictions.
