First-aid measures

- General information:
Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Take affected persons out into the fresh air.
Seek immediate medical advice.

- After inhalation:
In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.
Provide oxygen treatment if affected person has difficulty breathing.
If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

- After skin contact: After contact with skin, wash immediately almost 15 minutes with plenty of water.

- After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for almost 15 minutes under running water.

- After swallowing: Rinse mouth out with water.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media
- Suitable extinguishing agents:
Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, foam, water spray (mist).
Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
High temperatures may liberate toxic or corrosive gases. Do not breathe smoke or vapours.

Advice for firefighters
- Protective equipment:
Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Wear fully protective suit.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

Environmental precautions:
Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course.
Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Residue may be washed down with water.
Take up small spills with dry chemical absorbent.
Large spills may be taken up with pump or vacuum and finished off with dry chemical absorbent.
Methods for Containment: Contain the spill or leak if it can be done safely.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure controls
- Personal protective equipment:
- General protective and hygienic measures:
The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

- Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device in case of insufficient ventilation.

- Protection of hands:
Protective gloves
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation.
Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/ the chemical mixture.
Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation
- Material of gloves
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the
application.
- Penetration time of glove material
The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
- For the permanent contact gloves made of the following materials are suitable:
Material of gloves : LLDPE (under gloves)
Thickness : 0.062 mm
Breakthrough Time : > 480’
- As protection from splashes gloves made of the following materials are suitable:
Material of gloves : Nitrile
Thickness : 0.4 mm
Breakthrough Time : 10 – 30’

- Eye protection:
Tightly sealed goggles

- Body protection:
Use protective suit.
Personal protective equipment for the body should be selected based on the task being performed and the risks involved. It is recommended to be approved by a specialist before handling.

- Limitation and supervision of exposure into the environment
Air emissions should be treated by systems of purification and controlled according to the characteristics of the product. (VOCs, Acidity, Other)

Stability and reactivity

Chemical stability
- Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: Stable under normal conditions of use.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.

Conditions to avoid: No further relevant information available.

Incompatible materials:
Reacts with oxidising agents.
Avoid contact with metals.
Reacts with strong alkali.

Hazardous decomposition products:
Halogenated compounds.
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
- Recommendation
Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.

- European waste catalogue
HP 4 Irritant - skin irritation and eye damage
HP 5 Specific Target Organ Toxicity (STOT)/Aspiration Toxicity

- Uncleaned packaging:
- Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
