Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice: Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
IF INHALED: If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Keep patient warm. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
IF ON SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash affected skin with soap and water. If irritation (redness, rash, blistering) develops, get medical attention.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
IF SWALLOWED: Do not induce vomiting wash out mouth with water. Drink two glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms occur obtain medical attention.
Symptoms: None known.
Medical treatment: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: "Small scale: In case of fire, use water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2 for extinction.
Large scale: In case of fire use foam or alcohol resistant foam."
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use water jet. Direct water jet may spread the fire.
Special hazards arising from the substance: None known.
Advice for fire-fighters: Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Do not breathe fumes. Keep containers cool by spraying with water if exposed to fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing dust. Keep upwind. Keep public away from affected area. Wear suitable protective clothing.
Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Small spills should be vacuumed when possible (vacuum cleaner must be explosion proof). Sweep up and shovel bulk waste into drums or plastic bags. Transfer to a lidded container for disposal or recovery. Do NOT wash away into sewer.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Good hygiene practices and housekeeping measures. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly cleaned.
Conditions for safe storage: Store in a cool dry place away from sources of heat and UV light. Avoid contact with heat and ignition sources and oxidizers. Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Hygiene measures: Protective clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances handled. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the respective supplier. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Ensure adequate ventilation. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
Respiratory protection: Based upon current information and in the absence of occupational exposure limits the use of a dust mask to a minimum standard of EN149 FFPI.
Hand protection: If repeated and/or prolonged skin exposure to the substance is likely, then wear suitable gloves. Recommended: EN374 type A.
Eye protection: Not normally required. If exposure to the eye is likely: Use eye protection according to EN 166, designed to protect against dusts.
Skin and body protection: Wear impervious protective clothing, including boots, lab coat, apron or coveralls, as appropriate, to prevent skin contact. Recommended: EN368.
Environmental Exposure Controls: Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: None known. Thermal decomposition is unlikely.
Conditions to avoid: Avoid contact with heat and ignition sources and oxidizers.
