Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There is no evidence for a dissociation in the environmental range.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The dissociation constant study does not need to be conducted as the substance does not contain any ionic structure.

This was supported by a determination of the dissociation constant according OECD Guideline 112 the UV-spectrometric method was applied due to the low solubility of the test item. The

UV-spectra recorded at pH 4.0, 7.0 and 9.0 (see below) showed now significant difference in the range from 190 through 400 nm. From these data there is no evidence for a dissociation in

the environmental range. Values of pka <4 and pka >8 are not relevant in an environmental context.
