Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test item is a yellow solid.

Several endpoint come from a read across. ARALDITE MT 35600/35610 is used as source to read across several endpoint in ARALDITE MT 35700 dossier (TARGET).

The melting point was determined by differential scanning calorimetry to be in the range 37.2 to 39.4 °C (310.3 to 312.5 K).

Boiling point endpoint is a read across study and the test item decomposed from approximately 250.6 °C (523.7 K) prior to boiling at 101.2 kPa.

Denstiy endpoint coming from a read across was found to be 1.21 x 103 kg/m3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, using the a gas comparison pycnometer. Particle size data is also coming from a read across and the proportion of test item having an inhalable particle size of less than 100 μm was determined by a sieve method to be 6.76%.

Surface tension and flash point were waived

Vapour pressure , Partition coefficient and water solubilty endpoints were determined on the subsatnce it-self. The vapor pressure was found to be less than 4.9 x 10-3Pa at 25 °C, the partition coefficient to be

1.09 x 106to >3.16 x 106, log10Pow between 6.03 to >6.5 at, using the HPLC method and the water solubility to be less than 6.00 x 10-5g/L of solution at 20.0°C.

Surface tension endpoint was waived because the water solubility is below 1 mg/L at 20°C. The flash point was also waived because the test item is a solid and flash point is only a relevant property for liquids.

Hazardous endpoint as Auto-flammability, flammability, explosive and oxidising properties were coming from a read across (Source is ARALDITE MT 35600/35610).

Auto-flammabiluty was determined to be 530 ± 5 °C. the test item is not flammable and according to the chemical structure of the test item, there is no oxidising and explosive properties.
