The substance is not inherently  biodegradable (biodegradation less than 20 % in 28 days).

The substance was tested for inherently-biodegradation according to guideline OECD TG 302 C Modified MITI Test (II).

For test item, no biodegradability based on O2 consumption was observed after an incubation time of 28 days, as compared to the theoretical oxygen demand (ThOD). The apparent great variability of the degradation data for test item, among replicates, as well as overtime within each replicate, is solely due to the fact that the applied amount of total ThOD is exceptionally low).

The elimination based on dissolved organic carbon (DOC) analysis for the test item was 66 %, which, in view of the absence of mineralisation, indicates that most of the elimination occurred through adsorption to the sludge, or simply reflects the expected low solubility of the test item. Based on this data, the test item is not inherently biodegradable in the Modified MITI Test (II), since the pass level of 20 % degradation was not attained.
