First-aid measures

General information:

In case of adverse health effects seek medical advice.

After inhalation:

Move to fresh air.

After skin contact:

Rinse immediately with plenty of running water (for 10 minutes). Apply replenishing cream. Seek medical atention if necessary.

After eye contact:

Rinse immediately with plenty of running water (for 10 minutes). Seek medical attention.

After ingestion:

Rinse the mouth. Drink 1-2 glasses of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:

Alcohol-resistant foam.

Special protection equipment for firefighters:

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Special hazards by the product itself:

Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in fires.The product may undergo spontaneous polymerization at high temperatures. Polymeirzation is exothermic and may cause damage to the container and/or release of thermal decomposition products.

Additional information:

In case of fire, keep containers cool with water spray.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:

Wear protective equipment.

Environmental precautions:

Do not empty into drains / surface water / ground water.

Inform authorities in the event of product spillage to water courses or sewage systems.

Methods for cleaning and take-up:

Remove with liquid-absorbing material (sand, peat, sawdust).

Dispose of contaminated material as waste according to item 13.

Handling and storage

Handling:

Ensure that workrooms are adequately ventilated.

The workplace should be equipped with an emergency shower and eye-rinsing facility.

Storage:

The product is stabilized against spontaneous polymerization, however, if the permissible storage time or storage temperature are greatly exceeded then the product may polymerize.

Store in a cool place in closed original container.

Store between 2 - 8 °C

Store in a dry place.

Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.

Do not store together with reductants.
