Additional information

Tobler (2015) conducted a study following recent guidelines and in compliance with GLP. Oncorhynchus mykiss were exposed to the test item for 96 hours at 13 -14 °C and pH 7.4 in a static system. The substance has a low solubility, however the test media were clear solutions throughout the entire test duration. The test was considered to be valid, since no mortality in the control was observed and the validity criterion on at least 60% oxygen saturation was fulfilled. The 96 hour-LC50 for was calculated to be 6.5 mg/L with 95% confidence intervals of 4.6 and 9.3 mg/L. The value is selected to be carried forward for risk assessment, classification and labelling. The study is considered complete, adequate and reliable for the purpose of risk assessment and classification.
