The determination was performed by HPLC method according to EEC Directive 92/69, A.8.
The presented value is the log Pow of the ionized form of the test item (the salt form). Normally the log Pow has tobe determined of the undissociated form (here: carboxylic acid), but when a solution of test item in water is acidified, the acid form of test item is not soluble anymore and precipitates.
