First-aid measures

1.Description of first aid measures

General notes:

In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

Following inhalation:

Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medical attention if you

feel unwell.

Following skin contact:

Wash with soap and plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical attention.

Following eye contact:

Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue

rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical attention.

Following ingestion:

Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything through mouth to an unconscious person. Call a

POISON Center or doctor if you feel unwell.

2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

Skin contact: May cause skin irritation with itch or erythema.

Eye contact: May cause eye irritation, tearing, or blurring of vision.

Inhalation: May cause irritation of the nose, throat and respiratory tract with cough, or respiratory difficulty.

Ingestion: May cause gastrointestinal reactions including nausea, vomit and diarrhea.

3. Indication of the immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

No information available.

Fire-fighting measures

1 Extinguishing media

Suitable extinguishing media: Water, carbon dioxide or foam

Unsuitable extinguishing media: No information available.

2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating or toxic gases/vapors: Nitric oxide, carbon oxide.

3 Advice for fire‐fighters

Wear self‐contained breathing apparatus and chemical‐protective clothing. Prevent fire extinguishing water from

contaminating surface water or the ground water system.

Accidental release measures

1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Refer to SECTION 8 for personal protective equipment. Isolated spill or leak area immediately. Keep unauthorized

personnel away. Stay upwind. Keep out of low areas. Ventilate closed spaces before entering .Prevention of skin

and eye contact. Avoid breathing dust.

2 Environmental precautions

Do not discharge into drains/surface waters/groundwater.

3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment while cleaning up. Collect solids(while avoid dust formation)

and transfer to waste‐container to make further treatment. After that, flush residual with water and collect the

liquid to sewage‐treating system. Do not flush to waterway.

4 Reference to other SECTIONs

See SECTION 7 for information on safe handling.

See SECTION 8 for information on personal protection equipment.

See SECTION 13 for information on disposal.

Handling and storage

1 Precautions for safe handling

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid

inhalation of dust. In workshop, eye wash fountain, emergency showers are recommended. Wash thoroughly

after handing.

2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Store in tightly closed containers and place at a dry, dark, cool and well‐ventilated space.

After opening origin package, the material shall be used, as preventing development of bacterial.

3 Specific end use(s)

Apart from the uses mentioned in SECTION 3.5 no other specific uses are stipulated.

2 Exposure controls

Appropriate engineering controls:

Provide local exhaust or process enclosure ventilation system. Eye wash fountain, emergency showers are recommended.

Personal protective equipment:

Eye and face protection: Wear safety goggles.

Skin protection: Wear appropriate protective clothing, and use impervious gloves.

Respiratory protection: Wear full‐enclosed dustproof mask.

Environmental exposure controls:

Do not empty into drains.

Stability and reactivity

1 Reactivity

Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions (see SECTION 7, handling and storage).

2 Chemical stability

Stable under normal conditions of use.

3 Possibility of hazardous reactions

No known hazardous reactions.

4 Conditions to avoid

Strong alkali and heat (decomposition).

5 Incompatible materials

Strong oxidants.

6 Hazardous decomposition products

Nitric oxide, carbon oxide.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods

Incinerate in qualified disposal enterprise using installation with flue gas scrubbing. Disposal must be made

according to local and national regulations. Empty containers should be taken for local recycling, recovery or

waste disposal.
