No exothermic effect has been observed at an oven temperature of 140 °C for 72 h. The sample needed more than 42 h to reach the oven temperature due endothermic effects. After the measurement the mesh wire basket contained approximately 10 vol.% and 25 wt.%, respectively, less sample than at the start. After the test the test item was discoloured to light beige (original colour: white).

The temperature of the test item did not exceed 200 °C during the whole test.

Due to the negative result at 140 °C no further tests are necessary.

The test item is not classified in Division 4.2 (self-heating substances) due to the fact that a negative result was obtained by the test. using a 10 cm sample cube at 140 °C.

The relative self-ignition temperature / auto-ignition temperature is determined using UN RTDG N.4. The test item does not need to be classified, as no self-heating was observed in a 100 mm sample cube at 140 °C.
