The density of water at the test temperature was determined to be 0.997 g/cm3, in good agreement with the known value of 0.998 g/cm3, thus confirming correct calibration of the instrument.

Subsequently, duplicate measurements of the density of the test substance of 0.970 g/cm3 and 0.970 g/cm3 were recorded, yielding a mean value of 0.970 g/cm3. This is equivalent to a relative density value of 0.970 (relative to the density of water at 4°C)

Conclusions:
The relative density (D20/4) of T-13h was found to be 0.970

Additional information

A relative density determination was performed as part of a package of physicochemical testing (Huntingdon Life Sciences, 2013, Study IDK0104). The relative density was determined according to OECD Method 109 and EC Method A3, and the study was conducted in compliance with GLP.
