Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, butyl glycoside to fish is available. In this key study performed according to OECD 203 and GLP, Danio rerio was exposed to nominal concentrations of 1, 10 and 100 mg/L of a 51% solution in a semi-static test design. Analytical verification of the highest test substance concentration was achieved by TOC measurement and resulted in 84.3 - 96.7% recovery of TOC. No mortality was observed in any treatment, therefore an LC50 (96 h) value of > 100 mg/L was reported, equivalent to > 51 mg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested (Institut Technologique FCBA, 2010).
